Alexander Isak, Yoane Wissa latest as Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United could sign players on busiest deadline day ever

The futures of Alexander Isak and Yoane Wissa have dominated the news agenda for much of the summer.
It was way back at the end of July that Isak pulled out of Newcastle’s pre-season tour in the Far East with a ‘minor thigh injury’ and the superstar Swede has effectively been on strike ever since.
Isak is desperate to force through a move to Liverpool, who had an offer in excess of £110million pounds rejected earlier this month.
talkSPORT understands the Reds do not intend to bid against themselves and will not pay the £130m touted in some reports.
But, if Newcastle can secure a second striker in addition to record signing Nick Woltemade then Isak could get his way after all.
Wissa has been one of Newcastle’s main targets and followed Isak’s lead by releasing a bombshell statement demanding Brentford sell him.
Senior Bees sources have pushed back on Wissa’s claims he had been promised a move this summer and seem determined not to be bullied into selling.
It looks more likely Wissa stays than goes at this stage.
Another player Newcastle remain keen on is Jorgen Strand-Larsen, for whom they have had two offers rejected.
Wolves’ stance remains Strand-Larsen will not be allowed to go despite expressing a desire to make the switch to St James Park.
It remains to be seen if the Magpies will test their resolve with a third offer.
Will Reds make their Marc?
As well as Isak, Liverpool are trying to close out a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The Eagles have an offer on the table worth £35m and talkSPORT understands the England international has informed them he wants to move to Anfield.
If Guehi joins, the Reds could be open to allowing Joe Gomez to leave and AC Milan are interested, but that would have to be a permanent move.
Palace are set to beat Aston Villa to the signing of Toulouse star Jaydee Canvot and are also in the market for an additional centre-back.
With Axel Disasi’s loan move from Chelsea to Bournemouth falling through, could he swap west for south London?
Busy day at Old Trafford
Manchester United’s main priority on deadline day is bringing in a new goalkeeper.
The Red Devils have reignited their interest in Aston Villa’s Argentine World Cup winner Emi Martinez.
Martinez is understood to be keen on the move but much depends on United’s ongoing pursuit of Royal Antwerp stopper Senne Lammens.
A deal for Lammens was close at one stage last week, but it is taking a while for United to get it over the line.
If Martinez does sign do not be surprised to see Andre Onana offered out on loan.
In terms of outgoings, United have so far managed to shift just two of the five members of their so-called ‘bomb squad’.
Old Trafford sources claimed a £25m fee with Real Betis for Antony had been agreed on Friday, but the Spanish side insist they cannot pay such a hefty price and his wages.
United are still keen for the move to go through and are also looking to move on Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia.
Villa are among the clubs potentially interested in Sancho, but he is reluctant to take a pay cut so if he does go anywhere it is likely to be on loan.
Rasmus Hojlund should complete his loan to Napoli after undergoing a medical this weekend.
Active Arsenal
The Gunners have already been the biggest net spenders in this transfer window, and their activity shows no signs of slowing.
They are expected to complete the loan signing of Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen in a deal likely to include €52M obligation to buy.
The Gunners also need to trim their squad with Jakub Kiwior set to complete his move to Porto and interest in Reiss Nelson from both Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko, wanted by Marseille, are also available.
Busy Blues
It would not be a normal deadline day without Chelsea being at the forefront of the action.
Nicolas Jackson is holed up in Germany trying to force through his move to Bayern Munich.
Chelsea pulled the plug on a potential loan for Jackson after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury during their win over Fulham on Saturday, but the deal could still be revived if Bayern are willing to agree to a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation.
The big-spending Blues are also scouring the market for a potential new front-man of their own with Sporting’s Conrad Harder one possible option.
Elsewhere, Ben Chilwell has interest from Strasbourg as well as clubs in the Premier League, and Raheem Sterling is an option for Fulham, Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Any other business
Fulham hope to complete the double signing of AC Milan star Samuel Chukwueze and Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin.
West Ham are eyeing Toulouse’s England under-21 defender Charlie Cresswell to replace want-away Nayef Aguerd.
Nottingham Forest are expected to unveil right-back Cuiabano from Botafogo having announced the signing of goalkeeper John Victor from the same club on Sunday night.
Wolves hope to complete the signing of Genk striker Tolu Arokodare and are also looking to add another midfielder to their ranks.
Manchester City’s Manuel Akanji is a target for Tottenham and Crystal Palace.
