The actress, 50, debuted an icy blonde bob on the set of her upcoming movie, wearing what appears to be a wig while filming her role in Anxious People on Thursday, September 4, alongside her son Maddox.

Jolie looked nearly unrecognizable in photos published by Daily Mail as she took on the part of investment banker Zara, who gets caught in the middle of a holiday-season hostage situation.

She rocked a blunt, chin-length style with a center part and a near-platinum hue, which was a stark contrast to her usual more natural color.

Her mane had a smooth finish with curled-under ends, giving it a sleek, retro-inspired shape while starring in the film adaptation of the Scandinavian novel, directed by Marc Forster.

In the newly released photos, Jolie wore an elegant, monochromatic ivory ensemble consisting of a wrap-style cape coat that tied around her waist featuring a gold brooch. Underneath, the star wore a mid-calf skirt paired with pointed-toe stiletto pumps.

In recent months, Jolie has reportedly been “eyeing several locations abroad” as she considers relocating from her Los Angeles address, a source told People in August.

An insider told Us Weekly in June that Jolie — who shares Maddox, 24, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17, with ex-husband Brad Pitt — was savoring her “relaxed” summer with the kids before she got back to work.
