Ashley Graham Reveals How She Wore a Braless Look at CFDA Fashion Awards

Ashley Graham revealed the secret behind her braless look at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards.

Graham, 38, took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 5, to share exactly how she wore her backless Daniella Kallmeyer dress at the awards, which were held on Monday, November 3, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

In the pic, the model pulled down the bodice of her dress to reveal fashion tape over her chest. The tape extended from her collarbone to her ribcage and completely covered her cleavage.

Graham also gave fans a glimpse of her shapewear, which she wore under the design.

“A gorgeous night with the @cfda 🤍 thank you @meta,” Graham captioned the post. Her fans complimented her in the comments section.

“That boob tape is taping! I need an instructional video! You look gorgeous per usual! 🔥,” one follower wrote, while Graham’s friend Lauren Wambolt added, “Boob tape is truly a miracle.” Graham later replied to the comment, writing, “It really really is 🙏🏼.”

Even more commented on the tape, begging Graham for a tutorial. “Ok we need a tutorial on the boobie tape!” one wrote, while influencer Ashley Dorough commented, “Ok that boob tape though?! SO IMPRESSED.” Graham responded, noting that it was a “process” to get on.”

Her glamorous look featured a high neck, a fitted silhouette and a cowl back that showed some skin. The Victoria’s Secret model looked ethereal at the awards with a full beat, including long lashes, a soft winged eyeliner and pearly eyeshadow in her inner corners. She completed he makeup with bronzey skin, blushed cheeks and lined, glossy lips. Graham’s brunette hair was pushed back and styled in beachy waves.

She added a touch of sparkle to her look with diamond earrings.

Graham previously opened up about wearing bras in 2016 while chatting about her lingerie line with Nekia Nichelle’s YouTube channel, Just Nekia Nichelle.

“The first thing I take off when I walk into the house is my whole outfit. The bra has to come off,” she said. “Comfort and support are key.”

Graham added, “I saw a lack of sexy and fashion within bras, especially being a curvier girl — these 36DDDs needed something cute on them.”

Graham previously flaunted what she’s got during the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which took place on October 15 in Brooklyn, New York.

She walked down the runway in a black push-up bra featuring crystal embellishments lining her cups and lace details. Graham teamed the top with mid-rise bottoms complete with sheer lace sides.

In true angel fashion, the model delivered drama on the runway with black plume wings that sparkled as she walked. She tied her ensemble together with strappy heels and silver dangling earrings.

Graham’s makeup was just as noteworthy as her outfit. She donned smoky eyeshadow, rosy cheeks and lined lips. Her brunette hair was parted to the side and styled in a bombshell blowout.

She beamed down the runway and struck a pose with her hands on her hips at the end of the catwalk.
