Brooke Shields' Daughter Rowan Turns Heads at Glamour Women of the Year Gala

Brooke Shields’ oldest daughter, Rowan Francis Henchy, turned heads at the 2025 Glamour Women of the Year event.

Rowan, 22, looked lovely in a form-fitting gold studded ankle-length dress, which featured feathered wrist embellishments, at The Plaza Hotel in New York City on Tuesday, November 4. She paired her look with white heels and a gold clutch. Her hair was parted down the middle in a straight ‘do and her makeup was subdued with pink tones.

Rowan was seen inside the event with Dove Cameron, Brittany Snow and Kathryn Gallagher in a video shared by Glamour via Instagram. “What’s sisterhood without a little fun? 😂 Dove Cameron, Brittany Snow, Kathryn Gallagher, and Rowan Francis Henchy are clearly having a good time at the 2025 #GlamourWOTY Awards,” read the caption.

She also posted a selfie via Instagram Stories on Tuesday of her Omnipod insulin pump, which she wears to control her type 1 diabetes.

“Always a night to remember with @glamourmag,” she added in a separate Instagram Story upload, sharing a pic of herself on the red carpet.

Glamour honored Demi Moore and Tyla as their 2025 Global Women of the Year. Rachel Zegler was named U.S. and U.K. Woman of the Year, with Ms. Rachel, Pat McGrath and five women from the WNBA — Lexie Hull, Napheesa Collier, Jonquel Jones, Nyara Sabally and Satou Sabally — also honored as U.S. Women of the Year.

Although Shields, 60, wasn’t in attendance at this year’s event, she did walk the carpet with Rowan at Glamour’s 2024 celebration. They both wore sequined gowns for the occasion as they interviewed celebrities ahead of the gala for the beauty magazine.

Rowan graduated from Wake Forest University in May, majoring in communications and minoring in journalism.

“She wants to go into broadcast journalism and news,” Shields told E! News in June. “She’s been at different outlets. She’s done their carpet stuff.”

Shields, who also shares daughter Grier, 19, with husband Chris Henchy, added that she believes Rowan has a great career ahead of her.

“She’s so appealing as a person,” the actress said. “I mean, I’m her mother, you know, but people love her, and they tell me all the time. They come out of the woodwork, like, when I’m doing a morning show.”

In her Senior Showcase interview for Wake Forest, Rowan said she was thankful to the college for allowing her to truly be herself.

“I would say the most fundamental change I have seen in myself within the past four years is my confidence,” she shared earlier this year. “It’s not that I have been a shy person, but I have surrounded myself with a community that accepts every part of who I am. I came into Wake with my tail between my legs afraid my outgoingness would push people away. Instead, it did the opposite and drew in my best friends. I now realize that it’s too much work trying to be someone else, it’s not worth it, especially with how fast these four years go by.”
