Candace Cameron Bure Reveals Her Son Lev Is Now a Preacher
Candace Cameron Bure is supporting her eldest son, Lev, as he embarks on a new path of becoming a preacher.
“Lev preached a word this morning,” Cameron Bure, 49, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, December 29, alongside a photo of Lev, 25, on stage speaking to a crowd. “Abide in me Jesus.”
Cameron Bure also shared a clip of Lev giving his passionate church sermon.
“We’ve done to deserve it. He doesn’t love us because we have earned it,” Lev told the crowd. “He loves us because he’s a good, perfect God.”

At the end of his speech, Cameron Bure said aloud, “Amen.”
Cameron Bure shares Lev with husband Valeri Bure. The couple are also parents to daughter Natasha, 27, and son Maksim, 23.
Lev’s new venture comes three years after he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies. Prior to his work with his faith, Lev was part of the family business Bure Family Wines, which Cameron Bure and Bure founded in 2006.
“Lev works for our family business full time,” Cameron Bure said in a December 2021 TBN interview. “He lives up in Napa Valley … and he’s also in his third year at Liberty University, which he does online.”

Last year, Lev got married to wife Elliot after getting engaged in November 2023.
“I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Lev Bure 💍 ♥️,” Cameron Bure wrote via Instagram in January 2024 alongside a photo of her and her family posing with the happy couple. “Words cannot express the joy we have felt this weekend celebrating the marriage of our son and his bride Elliott.”
The Full House alum continued, “We gained a beautiful daughter and a wonderful family to do life with. I have an overwhelming sense of love, joy, peace and contentment thanks to God’s blessing of family and friendship. My heart is so full ♥️♥️♥️.”
Earlier this year, Lev appeared on Cameron Bure’s podcast and she revealed that Lev helped her and Valeri get through a rough patch years ago.
“I think it came from a point of love. Even when my siblings and I talked about it, it was like, ‘Man, we want more than anything for our parents to be together.’ But, let’s get to the matter of fact, it’s only going to happen through Jesus,” Lev recalled during the July episode of the “Candace Cameron Bure” podcast. “That was all we could point them to.”

Cameron Bure revealed that Lev gave her and Valeri a “45-minute sermon on marriage.”
“He said, ‘You know, I know I haven’t been married. I’m just a young kid. And so, it’s probably hard to take marriage advice from someone this young [who] never experienced it before. But I don’t need to be married to know what the word of God says,’” Cameron Bure recalled, adding that her son spoke with “such a calm voice that had so much wisdom behind it.”
Cameron Bure and Valeri “walked away” from the talk with a new mindset and appreciation for their family.
