Despite rave reviews, loans likely ahead for two Bayern Munich youngsters
According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Muncih coach Vincent Kompany is extremely happy with the progress made by David Santos Daiber and Felipe Chávez.
Kompany is such a fan that he will continue to include the youngsters in first team training, but that does not necessarily mean that there will be an opportunity for either player for a regular roster spot 2026/27. In fact, both players are likely to be loaned away in the summer:
Vincent Kompany is very pleased with the training performances of David Santos Daiber and Felipe Chávez. Both players are set to continue to train regularly with the first team and loaned out in the summer at the earliest. There are inquiries from the Bundesliga for Daiber, and from La Liga, Serie A, and the 2. Bundesliga for Chávez.
This is life at Bayern Munich. While the book is certainly not closed on either player for the future, earning a permanent first team position is tough — and even when the club likes you, nothing is guaranteed.
