'DWTS' Pro Britt Stewart Teases Honeymoon Plans After Daniel Durant Wedding

Before Britt Stewart can enjoy a honeymoon with Daniel Durant, she has some dancing business to take care of.

“No honeymoon yet, thank God,” Britt, 35, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, September 3, after the Dancing With the Stars season 34 cast was revealed. “Daniel has been in this position. He was like, ‘Babe, you’re now my wife, go on to the ballroom.’ But we have plans to take a honeymoon over the holidays, and we’re just so excited to then celebrate our wedding and marriage.”

On August 23, Britt and Daniel, 35, tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Santa Margarita, California. The couple — who were paired together on season 31 of Dancing With the Stars — were able to celebrate with family and friends of the ABC reality show.

“It was everything,” Britt said when describing her wedding day. “It was exactly what it was meant to be, which was what we had manifested and what we really wanted the feeling to be over all the other material things. We wanted the feeling of connectivity between us, between our family, our close friends, nature, everything. It was that.”

After dancing the night away, Britt is now focused on a brand-new season of Dancing With the Stars.

The professional dancer was paired up with NBA star Baron Davis for season 34.

While Britt is more than pumped to compete with a world-famous athlete, Daniel may be the most excited.

“He is losing his mind,” Britt told Us with a laugh. “My husband is an actor. He’s been to the Oscars. He is not easily [starstruck]. When I told him I was paired with Baron, he lost his mind. He is such a sports fan, and he cannot wait to meet [him]. He is ecstatic.”

Until then, both Britt and Baron, 46, are focused on putting in the work before they perform their first dance live on September 16.

Although they are still getting to know each other, both parties are confident they are going to make a great team.

“She’s adorable. She’s sweet,” Baron shared with Us. “I’m just like, ‘OK, all right, coach. Whatever you want me to do.’ She’s the greatest.”

As for Britt, she finds her latest partner to be a great student.

“My first impression was that he came into the room completely authentic,” she said. “I saw who Baron was as soon as he walked through the door. And I really vibe with that, because that’s how I like to proceed in life. … He is lovely. He is vibrant and friendly, and his energy is contagious.”

Dancing With the Stars premieres on ABC and Disney+ Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET and will stream the following day on Hulu.
