England 2026 World Cup squad odds: Grealish huge value, Rashford 11/10 despite senior recall

The 2026 World Cup is still a year away but the focus is always on the players that will make the plane to head to the major tournament.
England made it to the quarter-finals in 2022 only to be knocked out by the eventual finalists, France and will have big hopes on getting further in North America in 2026.

That 2022 squad will see plenty of changes as more come through the ranks to earn their place in Thomas Tuchel’s selection, while others make way.
If players have a great season then it’s almost a must for Tuchel to at least consider them making the confirmed list.
But there’s also so much competition, so they really have to be able to integrate well, with as many as 22 who are odds-on to make the cut.
Jack Grealish has started the season incredibly well for Everton and is proving his 6/4 price could be big value come the end of the season.
Similarly, Marcus Rashford’s loan move to Barcelona – and regular game time – could see his 11/10 shot at making the plane a big price if he impresses more for the La Liga side.
The likes of Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka are all amongst the favourites between 1/12 and 1/4.
Their experience in previous major tournaments coupled with their continued successes for their respective clubs means they are unlikely to miss the plane.
Of course injuries over the course of the season are big factors along with drops in form, so if a club like Arsenal or those from say Everton or West Ham, really struggle then it could be tougher for Tuchel to bring those players in.
Liam Delap missing a few games for Chelsea and drop in form may see other strikers preferred in an already saturated position.
He earned a senior recall from Tuchel this month to face both Andorra and Serbia.
Jobe Bellingham has all the potential to be added into the squad after his move to Borussia Dortmund.
With a full season ahead in the Bundesliga to earn his spot, just like a flurry of other players looking to forge their way in alongside some more experienced tournament and starting XI players.
Jobe being just 19-years-old and moving to a huge club like Dortmund who seem to specialise in developing young talent like the Bellingham’s is a huge factor that could see him be a big contender for the England squad next year.
Players in the top-flights around Europe can all force the question from Tuchel too.
Those that are in danger of missing out based on the first few games could be Ollie Watkins (4/5) with three games without a goal while Villa seem to struggle.
But it’s still so early in the Premier League much more can change.
This international break is the ideal time to see how those chosen for England this month handle wearing the Three Lions and if that form differs away from their respective clubs.
