Fernando Mendoza's giddy interview after Indiana upset was adorable

Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza sealed his frontrunner status for the 2025 Heisman Trophy on Saturday night by a monster second half against Ohio State in the Big 10 title game.

Indiana pulled out the 13-10 victory in Indianapolis with Mendoza lighting it up right when his team needed him the most. His postgame interview with Fox Sports' Jenny Taft is just too puppy dog earnest to hate. He was so happy!

Like, c'mon. This was adorable. Mendoza was absolutely ecstatic to get the major, major victory, one that will give his Hoosiers the top seed in the 2025 College Football Playoff field. Mendoza sounded like he was cutting the most positive wrestling promo of all time before his righteous battle with all the negative energy in the universe.

Seriously, this is just incredible. Mendoza just seems like the happiest person in the world on Saturday night. Good for him for just letting his giddy emotions get the best of him in this interview. We could use more of this.
