‘Few tell the truth’ – Nicolas Jackson’s agent responds as star’s Bayern Munich future plunged into doubt

Nicolas Jackson’s agent has appeared to refute the suggestion that he won’t sign for Bayern Munich permanently.

The Senegal striker joined the German giants on loan from Chelsea on deadline day this summer.

The move was a protracted one with his original deal being cancelled by the Blues after an injury to Liam Delap against Fulham.

Jackson had been in Munich ready to seal the deal and eventually got his transfer over the line as the west Londoners opted to recall Marc Guiu from his loan at Sunderland.

The second deal included an obligation to sign the former Villarreal star for £56.2million should certain clauses be met.

But the 24-year-old’s long-term future has already been thrown into doubt by Bayern Munich.

Their honorary president was a guest on SPORT1 and revealed all about the deal.

Hoeness: “It’s not a €16.5m loan fee, because the player and his agent are contributing €3m, so that leaves €13.5m.

“There will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start. He will never do that.”

Hours later, Jackson’s agent Diomansy Kamara posted an Instagram story to respond to Hoeness’ quotes on the new Bayern arrival.

“Many speak, but few tell the truth. That’s not the topic today. Our only priority is Senegal’s decisive match for World Cup qualification.

“This is a crucial moment for the entire nation. Our journey, our ethics, and our way of working are well known: first as footballers and now as advisors to African players.

However, his agent has appeared to suggest that this is not part of the deal

“It’s time for a united front. The rest will be dealt with later, at the appropriate time. End of story.”

To put it into context, England captain Harry Kane, their current starting striker, made just 42 starts last term.

Meanwhile, Jackson managed 38 appearances in total for the Blues across the entirety of the campaign.

He managed 13 goals in all competitions with 10 coming in the Premier League.

Jackson dropped down the pecking order swiftly this summer on the back of a tumultuous two months which saw two red cards in five games.

His first came in a 2-0 loss to Newcastle United in the Premier League for a deliberate elbow.

The second came in the 3-1 loss to Flamengo at the Club World Cup, where a reckless challenge saw him given his marching orders.

This, combined with the arrivals of Joao Pedro from Brighton and Delap from Ipswich Town, saw him made surplus to requirements.

Jackson doesn’t have the same issue at Bayern but will still have to get past Kane who will start the majority of games unless injured or suspended.

That’s down to a raft of exits, with Thomas Muller and Mathys Tel both leaving the club, along with wingers Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman.

Upon Jackson’s arrival at the Bundesliga behemoths, he said: “I’m really happy to now be part of this great club. Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world.

“Everyone knows the names of the legends who’ve played here and knows that this club stands for the greatest success.

“I’ve got big goals and dreams here and will give my all to help Bayern win further titles.”
