Ford Turns the F-150 Key Fob Into a Cowboy Belt Buckle Called the 'Truckle'

Hands-free vehicle access technology has never been this stylish

Blending old-school Americana, cowboy craftsmanship, and modern convenience, Ford has announced a wearable key fob integrated into a stylish silver belt buckle. Introduced to commemorate 50 years of the best-selling F-150, and unveiled at The State Fair of Texas held in Dallas, the Truckle is positioned as a premium accessory for die-hard F-150 fans to showcase their love for the legendary truck.

Design and Craftsmanship

Each piece is handcrafted from sterling silver by artisan Andy Andrews and his team at A Cut Above Buckles in Utah, combining traditional silversmithing techniques with detailed engraving and metal finishing. The chunky western-style belt buckle features intricate floral flourishes and deep linework around a hand-engraved motif of a 1975 F-150 on the front, with a discreet cavity in the back to hold a Ford truck key fob. The Truckle is compatible with any F-150 from model 2018 onwards, merging a functional key holder with a piece of wearable art.

A Celebration of Truck Culture

The F-150 has been America’s best-selling truck for five decades, and owners have been misplacing their keys for as long. With the Truckle, F-150 drivers no longer need to worry about losing their keys or rummaging through their pockets, with the fob always secured at the waist. Part practical automotive accessory, part artisanal design collectible, and part conversation starter, the Truckle is less of a key fob and more of a statement highlighting America’s long-standing truck culture. It offers a wearable symbol of pride for enthusiasts who see their trucks as extensions of themselves.

Pricing and Availability

Priced at $200, the Truckle is more of a limited-run collector’s item rather than a mass-market accessory. Each unit is built to order, shipped in an attractive presentation case, and since it is hand-crafted by the artists at A Cut Above Buckles, no two pieces are identical. If you are a passionate F-150 owner, you can order your Truckle online at Ford’s website and own a unique piece of cowboy-inspired American automotive heritage.
