Former Playboy Model Says Flight Attendant Made Her ‘Button Up My Shirt’

Former Playboy model Sara Blake Cheek has some questions about airplane dress codes after her latest flight.

“The flight attendant on @AmericanAir told me I needed to button up my shirt prior to boarding my flight,” Cheek alleged via X on Sunday, August 31. “I was unaware that American Airlines had a dress code that said you can’t wear athletic attire if you have big boobs.”

The sports talk show host later posted a selfie from an airport bathroom where she showcased her head-to-toe look for her Labor Day weekend flight.

“This is the outfit @AmericanAir flight attendant said I needed to fix prior to boarding,” she wrote via X on Sunday as she posed in a black bandeau underneath a yellow flannel.

Cheek completed her look with jeggings, high socks and sneakers.

“Finally leaving Atlanta after a cancelled flight this morning, rescheduling twice and then being delayed,” she shared via X. “Now the flight attendant tells me to button my shirt, but not the other women wearing the same outfit but are different in color than I am. @AmericanAir glad I’m a platinum member.”

Us Weekly has reached out to American Airlines for comment. In response to one of Cheek’s X posts, the company asked for her contact information so they could discuss the matter further.

“We have a deep culture of respect for both our customers and our team members, and we’re sorry for anything less than consistent and friendly service,” American Airlines wrote via X. “We’re sharing this experience with crew leadership internally, and we’d like to have our specialist take a closer look if we can. Traveling aside, Cheek was still able to enjoy the first weekend of college football.

The founder of Ballers stopped by Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, to watch the University of Tennessee beat Syracuse.

She also shared her thoughts on hot topics surrounding college football, including Bill Belichick’s coaching debut at the University of North Carolina.

After the team suffered a big loss against Texas Christian University, Cheek joked that maybe Jordon Hudson needs to step in to help.

When Cheek later asked followers on X to share their biggest takeaways from week one, one fan acknowledged her travel adventures.

“Be careful what you wear on American Airlines,” one fan wrote via X. Cheek replied, “Don’t be white and wear a sports bra.”
