How To Watch the 2025 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: Date, Time, Floats and More

The original Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade occurred in 1924, and the event has only gotten bigger in the 101 years since.

Although the parade has had a few skipped years over circumstances beyond anyone’s control, it’s still a major event in New York City that kicks off the holiday season.

This year marks the 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the event is so beloved that it’s remained a big ratings draw as well.
