Iowa football lands commitment from defensive lineman Tommy Riordan
IOWA CITY — Class of 2027 defensive lineman Tommy Riordan has committed to Iowa football, he announced on social media on Tuesday, April 7.
Riordan is a 3-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite.
He is listed at 6-foot-4.5 inches tall and 245 pounds, according to his social media. Riordan also reported having an 80-inch wingspan and a 35-inch vertical.
Riordan is the younger brother of current Iowa freshman offensive lineman Gene Riordan.
Tommy Riordan, who attends Hinsdale Central High School (Ill.), received offers from Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota, among others.
Riordan is the first defensive lineman to commit to the Hawkeyes in the 2027 high school recruiting class, but the seventh player overall.
