Kathy Griffin Spotted After Third Facelift, 'Should Have Saved Her Money'

Kathy Griffin is looking tighter than ever. The 64-year-old comedian and actress stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, proudly showing off her refreshed appearance just weeks after confirming she had gone under the knife for her third facelift. Griffin flashed a big smile as she made her way to a morning workout, and while her oversized sunglasses covered part of her face, her new complexion was still impossible to miss. Kathy Griffin appeared to be wearing minimal makeup, letting her latest cosmetic enhancements take center stage.
Kathy Griffin Admits Third Facelift Was 'Painful' But Says Vanity Won Out

The sighting comes a month after Griffin candidly addressed her evolving appearance on her "Talk Your Head Off" podcast. "Very taut is also very true!" she joked before confirming her latest facelift. "It's my third. I know that's so vain! I'm so vain for no reason," she said. "No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face. You come to hear my jokes, which is what I want."
Despite her humor, Griffin didn't sugarcoat the recovery process. "I'm going to be honest. It's painful," she admitted. "So these b-tches that are like, 'It's like getting a tooth filled! It's nothing!' No, it's painful."
Kathy Griffin's latest outing was captured on film by the Daily Mail.
Griffin Credits Surgeon Dr. Ben Talei For Facelift, Eye Lift, And More

The comedian revealed that Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei performed her most recent procedure. She previously presented him with a Daytime Beauty Award in 2023, and this time around, she said she couldn't "say enough good about him."
In addition to the facelift, the comedian underwent a foxy eye lift, chin work, and a blepharoplasty, a surgery that removes excess eyelid skin. She admitted her recovery wasn't glamorous, recalling her stay at what she dubbed a "rich lady recovery place" before heading home. "The first night there's drains that come out of your chin," she said. "I know it's so gross. But the vanity takes over."
Kathy Griffin Dragged Online After Facelift Reveal

While Griffin has been open and self-deprecating about her decision to undergo multiple facelifts, not everyone is applauding the results. Readers commenting on the Daily Mail's coverage of her outing were particularly harsh.
"Should have saved her money," one person bluntly wrote. Another piled on, "She can have 100 facelifts and she'll still be the same miserable person on the inside." Others didn't hold back on the name-calling, branding the comedian a "hag," "clown," and "ugly inside and out."
Griffin's History Of Controversy

The harsh reactions to Griffin's facelift are hardly the first time she's faced public scrutiny. The comedian has weathered her share of scandals over the years, most infamously in 2017 when she posed with a prop resembling Donald Trump's severed head. The shocking photo cost her gigs, endorsements, and even led to an FBI investigation.
The comedian and actress later admitted she went too far. "Hey, everybody, it's me, Kathy Griffin. I sincerely apologize. I am just now seeing the reaction to these images. I'm a comic. I crossed the line. I move the line. Then I cross it. I went way too far," she said at the time, per ABC. "The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people. It wasn't funny."
Secret Service Responds To Trump Photo Scandal

Despite Griffin's tearful apology at the time, the fallout from her infamous Donald Trump photo didn't end with public outrage. The U.S. Secret Service stepped in, issuing a pointed statement that, while not directly naming Griffin, made it clear the incident was being taken seriously.
"The U.S. Secret Service has a critical mission. It is always unfortunate when people make statements that could be perceived as threats," the agency said. "We don't have the luxury of knowing a person's intent. Each alleged or perceived threat has to be investigated thoroughly, which taxes Secret Service manpower and resources that could be utilized elsewhere."
Griffin was later "completely exonerated."
Now, with her latest cosmetic transformation in the spotlight, it seems the 64-year-old is once again the center of conversation.
