Mahmoud Abdelfattah Hired By Wolves As G League Head Coach
Mahmoud Abdelfattah has been hired by the Minnesota Timberwolves as head coach of the Iowa Wolves, their G League affiliate.
Abdelfattah was previously head coach of the Sydney Kings in Australia. Abdelfattah also was previously a head coach in the G League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers before joining the Houston Rockets as an assistant coach.
Abdelfattah was G League Coach of the Year in 2022.
