NFL fines 5 for violent gestures, including Steelers WR DK Metcalf
The NFL handed out five fines for violent gestures in Week 13, and Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf was one of the unlucky few penalized.
Metcalf, along with QB Baker Mayfield and RB Bucky Irving of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, CB Kyu Blu Kelly of the Las Vegas Raiders, and WR Nico Collins of the Houston Texans, was fined for violent gestures. The fines ranged from $5,722 to $14,491, with Metcalf, Mayfield, and Collins receiving the maximum amount.
Last weekend was a big one for violent gesture fines around the #NFL - 5 players were fined for a violent gesture: #Texans Nico Collins ($14,491)

In the Week 13 blowout loss to the Bills, Metcalf celebrated with a finger gun and imitated a firing motion, which the league has cracked down on heavily in recent years.
Metcalf wasn't the only Steeler disciplined by the NFL in Week 13, as both LB Payton Wilson and veteran DT Cameron Heyward received hefty fines last Sunday.
