NFL prop bets today [September 7, 2025]

The Baltimore Ravens face off against the Buffalo Bills in a potential AFC conference championship preview.

After losing to Buffalo in the playoffs last season, the Baltimore Ravens have the opportunity to get their revenge on Sunday night as they face off against the Bills who are currently dealing with injuries to their secondary. This may lead to an uptick in pass attempts for Lamar Jackson as the former two time MVP will be presented with plenty of high quality passing lanes for him to exploit.

Even though there is only one game being played on Sunday night, there are plenty of markets to groom through which you can read a detailed breakdown of them below.

Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills (8:20pm, EST)

Lamar Jackson Over 28.5 Pass Attempts: (-108) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Knowing the Buffalo Bills needed to bolster their secondary to improve on their near dead last mark in Def Pass Success Rate, they selected Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston with their first round pick of the NFL Draft. Unfortunately for the Bills, their struggles with defending the pass are poised to persist as Hairston suffered an injury before the start of the season and has been placed on their IR.

To make matters worse for Buffalo, they face off against one of the best passing units in the league as the Ravens bring back a majority of their core who led them to top-3 marks in Pass DVOA, EPA, and in Success Rate. With the Ravens fielding a deep group of pass catchers, Lamar will have plenty of high quality passing lanes for him to exploit which will help keep the ball moving down the field.

Lamar Jackson Over 233.5 Passing Yards: (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Correlating this prop with the previously mentioned one, an uptick in pass attempts will drastically increase Lamar’s chances of racking up the yards through the air. Especially if the Bills front seven continues to struggle with getting to the quarterback as they ranked below league average in Adjusted Sack Rate. With more time in the pocket, Lamar can let his plays develop which limits the amount of Havoc with his throws.

Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown: (-150) at BetMGM Sportsbook

After terrorizing opposing front sevens during his tenure with the Tennessee Titans, Derrick Henry carried over his momentum to Baltimore as he led the Ravens to top-2 marks in Rush DVOA, EPA, and in Success Rate. His offensive line played a major role in his success as the Ravens finished the year ranked near the top of the board in Adjusted Line Yards.

With the Ravens back at full health, Henry will continue to have the opportunity to run wild by exploiting the high quality rushing lanes his offensive line provides. Henry also commanded a majority of the Ravens share of red zone carries as he accounted for 85.5% rush attempts when inside the 20. Expect Henry to continue to be used at a heavy rate when inside the red zone and punch one in on Sunday night.

Derrick Henry Over 1.5 Receptions: (+165) at Caesars Sportsbook

Even though the Bills struggle to bring down the quarterback, they still excel at generating a push off the line as their defense ranked in the top-10 in Pressure Rate and in Adjusted Line Yards. This will force Lamar to get the ball out of his hands quicker than anticipated throughout the contest, potentially leading to more dump offs for Derrick Henry.

James Cook Under 54.5 Rushing Yards: (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

While Henry is expected to thrive, the Bills starting running back James Cook draws a much tougher assignment as he is set to battle it out against a Ravens front seven who ranked top-5 in Def Rush DVOA and in Success Rate. Cook also withheld from practice while negotiating his contract during the offseason, potentially resulting in a decrease in his number of carries while getting integrated back into the offense.

The Ravens defensive scheme also makes it tough for opposing running backs to generate explosive plays as they blitz their linebackers at the eighth heaviest rate in the league. Not only does this help the Ravens plug the gaps in the trenches, but it also drastically lessens the quality of opposing rushing lanes.
