‘One of my favourites’ – Premier League boss sends talkSPORT host Natalie Sawyer wholesome video message

Thomas Frank gave talkSPORT’s Natalie Sawyer an excellent parting gift for her final show on the Weekend Sports Breakfast.
Sawyer is leaving her role as presenter of the show after what has been an excellent stint in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday.
talkSPORT fans have listened to her voice alongside Tony Cascarino for five years to kick-start their weekend dose of sport.
Sawyer will remain with the station and work on different shows, but it’s time for her to call time on the Weekend Sports Breakfast gig and turn off those early alarms!
And to help give a heartfelt send-off, former Brentford boss Frank had a message for the avid Bees fan.
What did Frank say to Sawyer?
“Hey Natalie, I hope you’re well,” said the Dane, who spent seven seasons at Brentford before joining Tottenham in the summer.
“You’ve done an amazing job on Weekend Breakfast. As a foreigner, coming to England, listening actually to a bit of talkSPORT in my time, and of course Weekend Breakfast was one of my favourites.
“Thank you in general for your support as a Bees supporter, it’s been amazing, it’s been a fantastic journey we’ve been on, all of us together.
“I wish you very well for the future, and best of luck to you and your family, take care, bye!”
Co-host Cascarino also tapped into the well-wishes as he said: “I’d just like to say, I’ve absolutely loved the five years we’ve had together.
“And yes, you are staying on talkSPORT, but you’re doing different shows. But, it’s been great fun.”
Cascarino added: “I just really want to say that I’ve loved it and we’ve had great fun. The boys and girls who have worked behind the show have done brilliantly well.
“It’s a tough gig at six in the morning, every Saturday and Sunday… Sometimes a really shattered time preparing for the show.
“But I’ve loved it, loved every minute.”
Sawyer herself said: “I’ve loved every minute of it as well, it’s been an absolute blast.
“I am shattered, I’m looking forward to the fact I don’t have to set a ridiculously early alarm clock. But I’ll miss you all, because I’ve loved you all.”
Sawyer then revealed: “I’m handing over the baton to Shebahn [Aherne], she’s going to be brilliant of course.
“I’m still staying with talkSPORT, I feel like we’ve been making this big fanfare over nothing really, I’m just moving to a different time slot.
“But as I say, I’ve loved every minute so thank you to everyone behind the scenes, thank you for you, to all our guests and everyone that’s ever been on the show.
“To you, the listeners as well because you’ve been a massive part of this. Onwards and upwards is what I always say, come on the Bees! And Thomas Frank, I love ya!”
