Rebel Wilson Says She'll 'Never' Have a Bikini Body After 80-Lb Weight Loss

Rebel Wilson is opening up about her figure after losing weight.

Wilson, 46, took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 1, to share how she’s doing with her health journey after losing 80 pounds. “I don’t think I’ll ever have a bikini body — that’s just not me,” Wilson captioned a photo of herself rocking a Nike sports bra and mid-rise gym shorts. “But my body has carried me through this life and I am so grateful for it!”

In a separate social media post, Wilson added that she’s “trying to get in [her] daily steps” and “do a Pilates class once or twice a week [and] some strength training.”

The Pitch Perfect star also shared, “[I] eat as healthy as I can (but let’s face it, I love sweets 😝 so I need those GLP’s from time to time to give a little help.)”

Wilson went on to give a shout-out to other working moms and encouraged them to continue doing their “best.”

“Shout out to everyone trying to be the healthiest versions of themselves while dealing with a LOT! 🩷,”

Wilson previously opened up about her decision to lose weight in July 2021. “It first started when I was looking into fertility stuff and the doctor was like, ‘Well, you’d have a much better chance if you were healthier,’” Wilson explained via social media, noting that she had lost 65 pounds at the time.

“That’s kind of what started it, that if I lost some excess weight, it would give me a better chance for freezing eggs and having the eggs be a better quality,” she continued. “It wasn’t even really myself, it was more thinking of a future mini-me, really.”

By 2022, she was down 80 pounds, but she got candid about her weight fluctuating due to stress. “I did gain weight once I had my baby, because although I didn’t give birth to her and I didn’t need to lose any baby weight, I had just gained weight from the lack of sleep and from the change in my lifestyle,” Wilson told the Daily Mail in 2023.
