RHOC’s Tamra Judge Says Meghan King Is ‘Devastated’ After Losing Custody
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge is sharing insight into how Meghan King is feeling after she lost custody of her three children.
“I did text with her. She did not want to talk,” Judge, 58, shared on the Tuesday, November 25, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “She is so devastated. Her family is devastated. To have your children taken away from you by a third party, I couldn’t even imagine.”
Earlier this month, Us Weekly learned that King, 41, lost custody of her three kids with ex-husband Jim Edmonds following an investigation by Child Protective Services.
The former Bravo star was granted supervised visitation rights while Edmonds, 55, has sole physical custody. A source told Us the decision is temporary and a hearing will be held in December to determine whether the custody arrangement will become permanent.

“I’ve always known her as a good mom and a good person, and she’s got an amazing family,” Judge shared on Tuesday. “And I always look at the mom and dad [who] have been married forever. She’s close with her brothers and her sister, and her dad’s an attorney.”
Cohost Dolores Catania said if she was in King’s situation, “I would die on the floor.”
Judge replied, “She is. That’s how she feels.”
“Her poor children have to be totally confused because from what I heard from Meghan, he now lives in Tennessee or something,” Judge claimed. “He’s in Nashville and she’s in Missouri. So that means her kids are far away if he’s still in Tennessee. The kids are very confused. They don’t fully understand things. They’re young. They’re really young. I just hope everything gets back to normal before the holidays for her. Everybody pray for her.” (A source previously told Us that Edmonds resides in Missouri.)
‘RHOC’ Cast Members React to Meghan King Losing Custody of Her Children
King and Judge were once costars on The Real Housewives of Orange County between seasons 10 and 12.
When announcing her exit from the Bravo reality show in January 2018, King expressed gratitude for finding new friends like Judge.
“I have made soul sisters in Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge and that can’t be lost,” she wrote in her blog. “They have touched my heart and I would do anything for them and I know they feel the same way about me — what a gift to have found that on RHOC!”

Judge isn’t the only Real Housewives of Orange County star to show their support for King.
While attending a fundraiser for The Innocence Center on Sunday, November 23, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon Beador expressed sympathy for what King is going through.
“It is very sad and unfortunate anytime that anyone’s children are in the press,” Kirschenheiter, 41, told Us. “I fully believe that we don’t know what’s going on in that household, and nobody should be commenting about what’s going on in that household. She’s not even on the show anymore. She obviously has a lot going on and a lot to deal with. I really just wish them and their children well.”
