RHOC’s Vicki and Tamra Predict Shannon’s Reaction to Their Friendship
Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge don’t care what other people — including Shannon Beador — think about their new friendship.
“I’ve known Vicki longer than anybody, and I don’t think anybody should dictate who you can be friends with and can’t be friends with,” Tamra, 58, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, November 5, while supporting FlavCity Café. “I think Vicki’s the same.”
Vicki, 63, replied, “That’s why we met, because we don’t care what other people think.”
On Friday, November 7, Us broke the news that Vicki and Tamra have reconciled after having their differences over the years. The duo — along with Shannon, 61 — used to be close friends on The Real Housewives of Orange County and even launched a “Tres Amigas” tour inspired by their friendship.

When asked if Shannon would be upset to hear that Tamra and Vicki are friends again, both parties seemed unbothered.
“No, I mean, no. And if she is, it’s ridiculous,” Vicki explained to Us. “I can talk to whoever I want. I can call whoever I want. I can be friends with whoever I want. We’re not bashing Shannon. We were actually having a great conversation. Tamra said she loves Shannon.”

Despite a tense season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which is currently airing Thursdays on Bravo, Tamra agreed that she does have love for Shannon.
“When you really, really love somebody and you get hurt by that person, you know there’s visceral reactions that happen,” she explained.
Vicki, Tamra and Shannon starred in The Real Housewives of Orange County together from season 9 to season 13. While the trio had their fair share of drama, they also had plenty of laughs as they navigated cast trips, themed parties and other surprises.
“My God, we had such a fun time,” Vicki shared when looking back on the “Tres Amigas” friendship. “We did traveling and falling and singing and dancing, and neither one of us knows how to do it. I mean, we had a blast.”

It’s one of the many topics Tamra and Vicki discussed when they buried the hatchet and started fresh on their relationship.
While partnering with FlavCity Café — a brand-new line of all-in-one instant lattes from FlavCity — Tamra and Vicki were able to reconnect on a deeper level away from any cameras.
“Vicki and I don’t sit there and talk about the show,” Tamra explained. “We talk about our kids, and she updated me on [her daughter] Briana and her son [Michael] and where they’ve moved to. Her relationship, my relationship — that kind of stuff.”

After spending many dramatic seasons on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki is ready to keep the BS away and focus on the good stuff. She’s also staying mum on whether a return for season 20 could be in her future.
“I want a nice life. I’ll fight to have a nice life,” she said. “I have a beautiful life. So do you [Tamra].”
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET. Stream past episodes anytime on Peacock.
