Selena Gomez Rocks Hair Down to Her Butt for 'Allure' Beauty Cover Story

Selena Gomez is no stranger to the limelight, and her drop-dead gorgeous Allure cover proves she’s embracing life on the center stage more than ever. Gracing the publication’s Best of Beauty issue, the star is a vision of glamour, grace and unapologetic authenticity.

Gomez, 33, delivered a look that was nothing short of mesmerizing — rocking hair down to her butt as she posed in a red Blumarine dress paired with Panconesi earrings for the cover and a photo featured in her interview, highlighting her devotion to Rare Beauty, her thoughts on body image and more.

Her glowing skin on the cover was complimented by her cheeks kissed with a rose-toned blush, soft brushed brows and understated bronze-toned eye makeup. Gomez’s lips stood out with a deep crimson ombré that gave a classic Hollywood nod with a modern twist using Kind Words Matte Lip Liner in Devoted & Strong, and Kind Words Matte Lipstick in Devoted & Strong.

For the fashion-forward shoot, her waist-grazing hair extensions were styled down to her lower back. The glam team completed her look with red Fogal tights and an Agmes cuff.

In another shot, Gomez has big curls with extreme volume while modeling a bold Marc Jacobs dress, Hugo Kreit earrings, a Patricia Von Musulin ring and Jude peep-toe shoes.

The Emmy-nominated Only Murders in the Building star graced the cover while celebrating five years since the founding of Rare Beauty.

“I wish all of my time could be here [at Rare Beauty HQ],” Gomez told the publication, before adding that while she maintains a busy schedule, she also regularly takes social media breaks.

“I want to feel content in whatever position I’m at in my life, and I want to be present,” she explained. “Taking a break from social media helps do that for me. I finally feel like I’m in a place where I don’t need to be apologetic for every single thing that I do.”

The singer said that she’s focused on her self-love journey with an incredible person by her side, fiancé Benny Blanco, as they prepare for their nuptials after her bachelorette party.

Meanwhile, brushing off critics has become something that she is accustomed to.

“I got stung by a person saying I was fat. Why is that [emotion] coming up?” Gomez recalled. “I’ve dealt with a lot of weight issues in my life, and that’s something I’m very sensitive to.”

Gomez said Blanco, 37, has been an unwavering support that she can rely on, adding that she couldn’t be more grateful to have found the best qualities in her life partner.

“I appreciate his heart, his kindness, his quirks,” she shared. “He’s one of the most grounding people in my life, and he makes me feel very normal.”
