- England to win 1-0 England are yet to concede from their four World Cup qualifiers so far and haven’t impressed in front of goal just yet, only managing a 2-0 home win over an Andorra side ranked 174th in the world on Saturday.
- Harry Kane to score or assist England’s all-time leading goalscorer has scored six goals and two assists in four games for Bayern Munich in all competitions so far this season, three more contributions than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues
- Serbia to receive 30+ booking points The Eagles have received 34 yellow cards and 2 reds in their 14 matches since the start of Euro 2024, averaging just shy of three cards per game
- England goalkeeper to make 2+ saves Serbia are unbeaten in at home in the last two years and will no doubt be England’s toughest opponents in World Cup qualifying
Thomas Tuchel’s side have taken maximum points from their opening four matches, most recently beating Andorra 2-0 in Birmingham on Saturday evening to preserve their 100% record and extend their lead at the top of Group K to five points.
Another victory would strengthen their position further, though Serbia, having played a game fewer, remain firmly in contention, leaving tonight’s clash a huge one in terms of which side will have control of the group heading into the business end of the campaign.
Since their defeat in the Euro 2024 final, England have responded strongly, winning nine of their last ten competitive fixtures and each of the last seven.
That consistency has underpinned their strong start to qualifying, but Tuchel will be well aware that Serbia represent the toughest test his side have faced in the group, and the most difficult game since taking charge of the Three Lions at the start of the year.

Dragan Stojkovic’s team enter the match unbeaten in their last seven outings across all competitions, with three wins from their most recent four.
Currently second in the group, they have the opportunity to cut England’s lead to just two points, which would leave them well placed to reach a third consecutive World Cup – something not achieved since the 1960s, when the country competed as Yugoslavia.
Serbia’s home form adds further weight to the challenge for the Three Lions having not lost in at home for over two years, a run that includes fixtures against Spain, Denmark, Switzerland and Austria, underlining the resilience of Stojkovic’s side on their own turf.
The two nations have only met once before – at Euro 2024, when Jude Bellingham scored the decisive goal in England’s 1-0 win in Gelsenkirchen.
Tuesday’s qualifier, however, brings with it a different context and higher stakes, with both teams aiming to take a decisive step toward World Cup qualification.
