Terence Crawford flaunts incredible physique for Canelo Alvarez fight and fans all have same reaction: ‘No chance’

Terence Crawford looks in simply sensational shape as his date with destiny against Canelo Alvarez approaches.

‘Bud’ is facing the toughest challenge of his career yet as he will step up in weight to face undisputed super-middleweight king Alvarez on September 13 in Las Vegas.

Crawford has progressively moved through the weights, conquering four divisions, including most recently graduating to 154lbs where he narrowly beat Israil Madrimov last August.

But for his upcoming showdown with the Mexican, he is forced to make a 14lbs weight gain to reach the 168lbs limit for the monster title fight.

Much has been made as to what physical condition Crawford would be in come fight night, given his significant additional mass.

But fans are surprisingly confident that he will take to the weight successfully and give Alvarez a real fight, after seeing images of him just one week out from the bout.

Crawford flexed his new physique for the camera and looked in supreme condition.

He sported a ripped and bulky looking physique, and looked huge in comparison to his days campaigning at super-lightweight during the early stages of his career.

And it sent the boxing community into ruptures of excitement, with one writing: “This new big fella looks absolutely terrifying, wow.”

One wrote: “Canelo is in trouble.”

A fan added: “There’s no chance he just rolls over, we have a fight on our hands.”

Another reacted: “He looks incredible. Assuming weight won’t be the factor we thought.

“Now it’s a matter of how Bud moves versus the naturally stronger man. This should be a great fight.”

Even UFC analyst and famous podcaster Joe Rogan reacted: “Oh s***.”

A final take conceded: “The bulk up looks extremely well and it appears he did it right.

“But let’s just hope he didn’t lose too much speed. Get him, Bud!”

Terence Crawford’s training for huge Canelo Alvarez fight

It has been a far different camp for the gifted 42-0 operator, who has had to change emphasis on his physical conditioning given the vast leap in weight.

Crawford has been sparring with naturally bigger and stronger fighters to prepare him for the test of the heavy-handed Alvarez.

His coaches have all confidently suggested he will be in the best shape of his career and ready for the stern test of Alvarez.

That has included a more intense regime than ever as set by his strength and conditioning coach Chet Fortune, who has built what he believes is a new and huge monster.

Training footage has left many impressed, but Alvarez has looked to match his intensity in training.

The champion even drafted in undefeated former champion Jaron Ennis to replicate his rival in sparring.

But focus for Crawford is simply on victory, which could see him ranked as an all-time great, reigning as champion in five weight classes to emulate Floyd Mayweather.
