‘Unfinished business’ – Eddie Hall called out by hulking 280lbs former WWE tag team champion

Former WWE star Gzim Selmani has encouraged Eddie Hall to take on someone his own size following the latter’s Dillon Danis call-out.
Hall and Danis appeared to agree to an MMA fight at the Misfits 22 event in Manchester.
Should the pair meet under the Misfits promotional banner, their fight would follow traditional MMA rules.
Although there is one glaring difference between Hall and Danis that could cause complications in getting a fight over the line – their size.
After weighing in at 180lbs, Danis beat Warren Spencer in 15 seconds for the Misfits MMA light heavyweight title.
Whereas when former World’s Strongest Man Hall made his MMA debut in April, he tipped the scales at 348lbs, just 12lbs shy of being double Danis’ weight.
Hall’s debut ended in the Briton beating Mariusz Pudzianowski in less than 30 seconds.
Selmani, who performed under the name ‘Rezar’ during his two stints with the WWE, responded to Hall’s call-out on Instagram by saying: “I’m returning to my roots as a fighter and I have unfinished business in the world of combat sports.
“I’ve been watching Eddie Hall trying to pick a fight with a welterweight, and that doesn’t sit right with me.”
The 31-year-old walks around at 280lbs and cuts to 265lbs to fight at heavyweight in MMA, which makes him a fairer opponent for the Brit.
He continued: “He thinks he is the big man coming in to fight sports, well, why doesn’t he take on someone who can actually knock him out… Someone like me.
“This is a message for Eddie Hall, I challenge you to fist fight on any Misfits Boxing card. I need to remind & teach everyone that I am the world’s most dangerous professional wrestler.”
Selmani has amassed a professional MMA record of 4-2 after making his debut in 2012.
Although in 2015, he turned his hand to WWE and went on to have great success as one half of the tag team known as the ‘Authors of Pain’ – winning the Raw Tag Team belt alongside Akam.
Selmani’s manager, Shane Watson, told talkSPORT.com: “I believe a fight with Gzim and Eddie Hall is realistic, as is a fight against any other heavyweights in regards to Misfits or other potential suitors.
“I have had discussions with various promotional companies in regard to Gzim fighting on their platforms.
“It’s just about picking the right ones financially, as well as having a detailed plan for him to excel as much as he can.”
With that being said, it seems like Hall is determined to fight Danis.
Are Eddie Hall and Dillon Danis likely to action a fight?

When speaking to talkSPORT.com after his face-off with the American, Hall confirmed that an agreement is in place.
Hall explained: “He said I’ve got to lose weight, he wanted me under 400 pounds, which I already am.
“So I said, ‘I’ll get to under 300 pounds.’ I’m going to lose 64 pounds. Give me 12 weeks and I’ll lose it. I am a dedicated man.
“If he signs that contract – well, we’ve already agreed it – so if he backs out, he’s an absolute f****** [expletive], and I’ll never let him live it down.
“But yeah, just give me 12 weeks, I’ll lose 64 pounds, and I’ll be ready to fight at 299 [pounds]”
