Who Is Chloe Malle? Meet the 'Vogue' Editor and Anna Wintour's Successor

Anna Wintour has officially passed the baton to Chloe Malle as Vogue’s new head of editorial content.
The fashion icon and the longtime editor-in-chief announced that Malle will be her successor in a statement released on Tuesday, September 2.
“Chloe has proven often that she can find the balance between American Vogue’s long, singular history and its future on the front lines of the new,” she said in a statement. “I am so excited to continue working with her, as her mentor but also as her student, while she leads us and our audiences where we’ve never been before.”
Malle also opened up about accepting the position, adding, “Fashion and media are both evolving at breakneck speed, and I am so thrilled — and awed — to be part of that.”
“I also feel incredibly fortunate to still have Anna just down the hall as my mentor,” Malle continued, expressing her gratitude for the prestigious honor. “I’ve spent my career at Vogue working in roles across every platform — from print to digital, audio to video, events and social media. I love the title, I love the content we create and I love the editors who create it.”

Chloe also has two half-siblings from her dad, Manuel, whom Louis shared with Gila von Weitershausen, and Justine, the daughter of his ex, Alexandra Stewart.
She also opened up to The New York Times about her promotion and addressed the fact that she’s a “proud nepo baby.”
“There is no question that I have 100 percent benefited from the privilege I grew up in. It’s delusional to say otherwise,” she shared. “I will say, though, that it has always made me work much harder. It has been a goal for a lot of my life to prove that I’m more than Candice Bergen’s daughter, or someone who grew up in Beverly Hills.”
