Zac Brown Is Bringing His Music And Margaritaville Vibes To The High Seas

Zac Brown is bringing his laid-back Southern energy to the high seas, literally. The country star and three-time GRAMMY Award winner is officially setting sail with Margaritaville at Sea, announcing a first-of-its-kind collaboration that blends live music, coastal culture, and the soul of songwriting. The partnership will debut aboard the cruise line’s upcoming flagship vessel, Beachcomber, with the creation of the first artist-curated live music venue at sea, designed and developed entirely by Zac himself.
Zac Brown’s Same Boat Venue Brings Jimmy Buffett’s Spirit To The High Seas

The new venue, aptly named Same Boat, takes inspiration from the 2021 hit song Brown recorded alongside the late Jimmy Buffett, who long embodied the escapist spirit that defines the Margaritaville brand. As the largest live music venue aboard Beachcomber, Same Boat promises to deliver an atmosphere that captures the energy and authenticity of a Zac Brown Band concert, complete with top-tier acoustics, live performances, and signature Margaritaville cocktails.
“When we started talking about this partnership, I knew I didn’t just want to design a room. I wanted to create an experience that truly captures the spirit of Margaritaville at Sea,” Zac Brown said. “Designing Same Boat has been about bringing that easygoing energy that’s always guided my music to life."
Zac Brown’s Same Boat Venue Is A Tribute To The Freedom Found In Music And The Open Water

From the artwork and stage design to the sound system and lighting, Zac is working hand-in-hand with Margaritaville to ensure the venue reflects his creative vision and honors Buffett’s enduring legacy of music and community.
"Every detail reflects pieces of my own journey, from the stage to the sea, all coming together to create a place where people can connect, share a drink, listen to great music, and feel that incredible sense of freedom you only find at a show or out on the open water," he said. "That’s my kind of medicine.”
Same Boat Is Where Music Meets Memory

Zac’s connection to the Margaritaville brand runs deep, both musically and personally. “Zac has long been a member of the Margaritaville family and had a special relationship with Jimmy over many years,” John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville, said. “This partnership celebrates that legacy and brings to life yet another reason to cruise on the Same Boat."
Same Boat will serve as more than just a concert space. It’s designed to be a gathering place for travelers and music lovers alike, where every cocktail, lyric, and sunset pays tribute to the unshakable bond between two icons of coastal music.
